ZIGMA SWEATER-VEST
...........................................
Somewhere between the garden path and the library, between the incense shop and
the dinner party, between curiosity and serendipity, lies the space that Zigma inhabits.
With its mosaic motif blending zigzag and herringbone, Zigma is a seriously playful
quirky classic.

A Note on Technique: This design uses the mosaic knitting method and is *not* a stranded colourwork garment; no experience in colourwork is required, and no steeking is involved. If you can knit stripes and if you can slip stitches, you are all set to try this vest! The pattern includes written and charted instructions.

IMPORTANT: NOTES ON CHARTS
After you download the pattern, do not panic when you notice 8 pages of charts at the end :)) This is because each size gets its own neckline shaping chart. Select the chart relevant for your size and ignore the rest!
Also: If you prefer to 'work in pattern' for the shaping sections rather than from charts, written instructions for doing it that way are also included. You do not have to use the charts at all unless you want to.

NOTES ON COLOUR & YARN SELECTION
Choose colours higher in contrast for a zig-zag effect; choose colours lower in contrast for a more herringbone-like effect. Tweed and variegated yarns are particularly suitable for this design.
