Christmas Socks

The Christmas Tree Socks are the perfect project to start working on when the days are getting shorter, colder and cozier. These socks are worked from the cuff to toe, starting with ribbing and moving into festive colour work featuring little Christmas trees before the heel and foot sections are worked. The heel and dipped toes add that extra touch of Christmas magic and perfectly complete the seasonal design on the cuff. Yarn: 4-ply sock yarn (ca. 80% wool, 20%polyamide) in 4 colours: red (80g) green (30g) yellow (5g) brown (5g) Needles: 2,5mm / US size 1.5 DPNs or Round Needles if using Magic Loop Technique Gauge: 10cm x 10cm = 4inch x 4inch = 28sts x 40 rows on 2,5mm DPNs or circular needles using the magic loop method. Sizes: 1 (2) 3 pertains to the width of the sock. The length of the sock can be adjusted as needed (explained in pattern while knitting the foot section). note: sizing pertains mostly to the width of the sock. Use the larger size for a wider cuff requirement. Recommended Ease: 0-1 cm/0-0.3 in of negative ease. To find your size, measure the circumference of your leg, at the skinniest part above your ankle. Finished Measurements: 1 (2) 3: cuff width, i.e. foot width/leg circumference: 20 (22.5) 25 cm / 7.9(8.9) 9.9 in foot and cuff lengths are adjustable.
