home in the hills double knit tapestry

This is a chart pattern for a reversible double-knit wall hanging. I used Cascade Heritage Solids, but you can use any two fingering weight sock yarns in contrasting colors. The gauge is a rough estimate based on the finished project size (roughly 10 inches by 8 inches). I used less than 50g of each color yarn--probably about 1/4 of each 100g skein. This pattern is not a comprehensive double knitting tutorial, but includes links to helpful videos about casting on, the double knitting selvage, and binding off.
