The *Lazybones* sweater draws its inspiration from a relaxed mood. It features a straight silhouette and a softly textured stitch pattern that is both engaging and soothing to work. The fabric is created with knit and purl stitches, yarn overs and simple decreases, forming a light lace texture that flows naturally across the garment. Worked with large needles, the sweater grows quickly. The fabric is worked with three strands held together — one strand of fingering-weight yarn and two strands of airy silk-mohair — creating a pillowy, ethereal fabric. Or approx. 1035 (1120, 1225, 1295, 1365) (1530, 1580, 1680, 1730, 1845) yds / 945 (1025, 1120, 1185, 1245) (1400, 1445, 1535, 1580, 1685) m of fingering-weight yarn. Yarn 2: 9 (10, 11, 12, 12) (14, 14, 15, 15, 16) balls of Edith by Novita (70% superfine kid mohair, 30% silk, 229 yds / 210 m – 25 g), in the colourway 7851 Feelings. Or approx. 2060 (2235, 2460, 2585, 2725) (3070, 3150, 3355, 3435, 3665) yds / 1885 (2045, 2250, 2365, 2490) (2805, 2890, 3070, 3150, 3360) m of lace-weight silk mohair yarn.  The sweater is worked by holding 1 strand of fingering-weight yarn together with 2 strands of lace-weight yarn throughout. Alternatively, you may use 1 strand of DK-weight yarn together with 1 strand of lace-weight yarn. You will need the same total yds / m of DK-weight and lace-weight yarn as you would of fingering-weight yarn. Please note that the type of yarn affects how the fabric drapes. Alternative yarn suggestions are for example: 1 strand of Wilhelmi Fingering by Vuonue, Arwetta by Filcolana or Sunday by Sandnes Garn (for Yarn 1), held together with 2 strands of Filcolana Tilia or Isager Silk Mohair (for Yarn 2). **Needles:** US 10 / 6 mm circular needles 40–47" / 100–120 cm for body and 16" / 40 cm for sleeves, US 6 / 4 mm circular needles 40–47" / 100–120 cm or DPNs for ribbing.  **Notions:** Removable stitch markers, scrap yarn or cables for holding stitches.  GAUGE 17 sts x 22 rnds and rows to 4" / 10 cm in Lace Patt on US 10 / 6 mm needles, after blocking  30 sts x 30 rnds to 4" / 10 cm in Half-Twisted Rib, on US 6 / 4 mm needles, after blocking.  NOTES This sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in an easy lace pattern. First, stitches are cast on for the back, which is worked flat with gradual increases to shape the shoulders. The back then is worked straight down to the underarms. Stitches for the front pieces are picked from the sloped shoulder and worked down separately, with shaping for a rounded neck, then joined and worked flat to the underarms. The back and front are joined and the body is worked in the round down to the hem, which is finished with Half-Twisted Rib and a Sewn Tubular BO.  Stitches are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are worked straight in the lace pattern in the round, and the cuffs are finished in the same way as the body hem. There is an option for tighter rib at the cuffs, which will make the sleeve shape even more rounded.
