The front shoulders are picked up and worked down separately until it is time to pick up for the sleeve caps, joining all of the pieces. The sleeve caps are shaped while working back and forth until the front neck shaping is completed. After the front neck is cast on, joining all in the round, the rest of the sweater is worked circularly, using magic loop or similar technique where needed. Cables are charted only. Gauge 24 sts and 34 rows = 4” or 10cm in stockinette stitch using larger needles. Measured after wet blocking. Needles Size US 4 (3.5mm), 32”or 40” (80cm or 100cm) circulars, or size to get gauge. US 2 (2.75mm), 32” or 40” (80cm or 100cm) circulars (or 2 sizes smaller than above) for knitting ribbed edges.
