Menamu

*Menamu* is a relaxed-fit raglan pullover with an easy-to-memorise stitch pattern. The two-colour texture and solid raglan lines give a modern look to a timeless construction. The fit is intentionally comfortable: roomy through the body and shoulders, with generously-sized sleeves that offer complete freedom of movement, while the cinched cuffs keep the sleeves secure and out of the way. Natascha Tulloch first used Menamu’s stitch pattern in a blanket for her children, and she wanted to recreate its cosy vibe in a garment. MC: 3 (4, 4, 4, 5) (5, 6, 7, 7) skeins in the colourway 2761 Golden Amber. CC: 1 (1, 2, 2, 2) (2, 2, 2, 2) skein(s) in the colourway 5291 Whispering Petal. Alternative yarn suggestions are for example Fleece Bluefaced Leicester DK by West Yorkshire Spinners, Ultra Wool DK by Berroco or Merino DK by Cascade Yarns. **Needles:** US 6 / 4 mm 16–32" / 40–80 cm circular needles for the main body, US 4 / 3.5 mm 16–32" / 40–80 cm circular needles for ribbing and longer circular needles or DPNs for small circumferences.  **Notions:** Stitch markers (1 unique), scrap yarn or stitch holders, cable needle (optional). GAUGE 18.5 sts x 32 rnds to 4" / 10 cm on US 6 / 4 mm needles in Main St Patt, after blocking.  NOTES This raglan pullover is worked seamlessly from the top down, starting with the 2 x 2 Rib collar. Short rows are worked at the back neck with integrated raglan increases. The rest of the raglan increases are worked with the stitch pattern repeat. The sleeves are put on hold while the body is worked in the round. Sleeve stitches are picked up and the sleeve is worked straight to a decrease just before the 2 x 2 Rib cuff. The body hem and cuff are both finished with a neat Italian Tubular BO. The garment is finished by folding and securing the collar.
