This crescent shaped shawl was created for the 2026 Yarn Crawl. It is inspired by the sights, textures, and sounds of forestry and its wildlife, under the light of the moon. Yarn BUKU Yarns ‘26 Yarn Crawl Kit Color A - 100 grams of BUKU Yarns Safari Sock Color B - 50grams of BUKU Yarns Silky Kid Lace OR A combination of 400 yards of fingering weight 459 yards of lace weight (mohair or suri would create the closest match) Hook Size US E/3.5 mm or size needed for gauge Notions Open or locking stitch markers Scissors Darning needle Gauge Unblocked: 23 sts and 6 rows Blocked & Pinned: 23 sts and 8 rows in DC Finished Measurements Unblocked: 17” deep and 54” wide Blocked: 26” deep and 67” wide I hope you enjoy working up this pattern.
