Granny Stripe Shawl

**The Granny Stripe Shawl** is worked flat from the top down using the timeless three double crochet clusters. The number of clusters increases in each row, creating a beautiful drape that flatters the shoulders. Crochet the classic Granny stripe rows until you reach your desired length. The shawl is finished with a pretty traditional scalloped edge, framing the upper part and sides first, then the bottom edge is made. It's a perfect scrappy project to use up all your yarn scraps and enjoy both the process and the finished piece. **Sizes:** One size (you can make it any size you like) **Measurements** approx. 185 x 43 cm / 73 x 17 inches **Yarn** The shawl in pictures is made out of fingering 4ply sock wool - mainly scraps and leftovers. The foundation chain and the sides scallop edging are made out of Arwetta by Filcolana in col. 975 Dark Chocolate. The bottom edging is made out of / Jawoll superwash by LANG in col. 83.0129 (you will need aprox. 250g fingering wool) **Hook size** 3 mm **Gauge** 19 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4") on a 3 mm crochet hook.
