Bell Flower Bouquet Shawl

A light, summer or spring time shawl, with a lacy leaf motif in the center, and bouncy flowers on the edges. It’s a soft, feminine garment that can be made in many colors to suit anyone who wants to add a layer of whimsy to their wardrobe. (I wear mine all the time) but this shawl would be lovely in pale colors worn over a wedding dress, used as shoulder cover in mild weather, or even modified and turned into a light throw for a living room or bed accent. This pattern is: Intermediate Level. This is not a mindless project, though it does have a nice rhythm after you get into the swing of it. It does not lay flat, and is worked in the round, with a “right” and “wrong” side, but for working but both are pretty in the final product. I used four skeins of Lion Brand’s Baby Soft in color Sweat Pea, which is about 2000 yards. The flowers take about 400 yards. I used a mixture of colors, but mostly Premier’s Bloom DK in the color Peony.
