Shadowplay Cardigan

The Pattern The Shadowplay Cardigan is a super versatile knit, coming together in the mix of several techniques. Using double knitting and half-brioche in two tones, you create a double sided look.  This pattern is available for free, as it is still in its BETA testing stage. We would really love any feedback. Difficulty: Advanced.  Construction Method The cardigan is worked top-down with raglan shaping, beginning at the neckline. A two-colour double-knit neckband is worked first. Short rows raise the back neck for fit. The yoke is worked flat in half brioche, with increases on RS rows only. Sleeves are placed on hold at the underarm, the body is continued flat, and sleeves are then worked in the round. The hem is finished with an integrated double-knit band. The pattern is divided into sections and subsections to help you find your place easily. Materials & Sizing The BETA testing pattern comes in M. More sizes will be added to the final pattern. If you would like to test any of the other sizes, please let us know via support@qing.studio.  Needles 3.0 mm for neck band + cuff 4.5 mm circular needle (80–100 cm cable) for yoke + body (flat) 4.5 mm circular needle / DPNs for sleeves in the round Notions 10 stitch markers (we recommend using stitch markers you can number/tell apart easily) Scrap yarn / stitch holders (only for sleeves and provisional CO)
