Ornament Dress

Ornament Dress is a modern twist and reinterpretation of the classic Christmas Dress. It is part of our 2026 Christmas collection. Ornament Dress is worked in the round in stockinette stitch from the bottom up using 1 strand of either Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk. It has a slight A-line shape in the skirt, a circular yoke construction and features a decorative border of baubles hanging from spruce branches – just like on a decorated Christmas tree. You start working the folded hem and then work a simple charted Fair Isle pattern before shaping the skirt with decreases up to the underarms. Sleeves are worked in the round before body and sleeves are joined on one needle. The yoke is worked in the round and shaped with decreases. Ribbed edges finish the sleeves and neckline.
