Kokomo Polo Jacket

Kokomo Polo Jacket is a fitted design featuring a mesh pattern, long sleeves and a polo collar. It is worked from the top down. First, the fronts and back are worked back and forth, with increases around the shoulder stitches and towards the neck to create a sloping front neckline. Once the shoulder section has reached the correct length, the work is divided and the fronts and back are worked separately. Towards the lower part of the armholes, increases are worked at the outer edges of the fronts and back. The fronts and back are joined, and the body is worked straight down and finished with a double-knit edge worked perpendicular to the direction of knitting. Plackets are added to the fronts and lead directly into the collar, which is worked in double knitting.
