Soft trail skirt

**DESCRIPTION** Soft Trail Skirt is a straight-fitting skirt with a slit. The fit is close-fitting, with an elastic waistband and extra height at the back. The skirt is worked top-down. First, the waistband casing is knitted. The elastic band is inserted, and the edge is folded down and joined using an i-cord bind-off. From here, stitches are picked up and short rows are worked. The skirt is then worked in the round while increasing at the sides. After increases, the skirt is knitted to the desired length before the slit. Choose a size with approx. 2–4 cm negative ease at the waist. The skirt is intended to sit at the natural waist, but measure where you prefer the waistband to sit.
