It is initially worked flat, then joined in the round for the second half of the cowl. Stripes and beautifully simple stitch patterns make this cowl fun to knit and easy to style. **Size:** 25"/64cm circumference x 20"/50cm depth. **Needles:** US 5/3.75mm or size to obtain gauge, in 24"/60cm circulars. **Gauge:** 22 sts and 27 rows = 4”/10cm in Stockinette stitch. Differences in gauge will affect drape and yardage requirements. **Yarn: fingering weight:** A: 125 yards / 115 meters; B: 140 yards / 129 meters; and C: 155 yards / 142 meters. **Notions:** 3 stitch markers, tapestry needle. **Samples knit in:** Emma’s Yarn Super Silky (80% superwash Merino, 20% Silk; 400 yards/100g) in Jackie O.
