Pop Arcade Top

Pattern will be available Sept/ beg of Oct 2026 Pattern testing is currently in progress The Pop Arcade Top is a feminine and airy crochet summer top featuring a decorative arcade stitch pattern and beautiful details. The front has a flattering V-neckline, while the back has a higher, straighter shape, with straps that bring the construction together beautifully. The top is worked from the top down and constructed in several sections before the pieces are joined and the body is worked in the round. The repeating stitch pattern gives the top an interesting look while keeping it light and comfortable to wear. The original is made with Viking Bjørk, a cotton and bamboo blend that creates a soft fabric with beautiful drape. The top can easily be styled for either a casual or more dressed-up look and is just as lovely worn on its own on warm summer days as it is layered under a jacket or cardigan. Skill level: ★★ (2 out of 5) This pattern is suitable for crocheters with a little previous experience. No advanced skills are required, but you should be familiar with the basic crochet stitches. Crochet hook: 4 mm, or the hook size needed to obtain gauge. Yarn: Bjørk (50% cotton, 50% bamboo), 50 g / 147 m from Viking Garn, or another Sport/Baby, Fine / 5 ply yarn (Weight 2). Make sure to choose a yarn that feels comfortable and soft against your skin. Preferably use 100% cotton or a cotton blend with linen and/or bamboo. Alternative yarns: Hjertegarn Blend Bamboo – 70% bamboo, 30% cotton, 50 g / 150 m. DROPS Safran – 100% cotton, 50 g / 160 m. Scheepjes Catona – 100% mercerized cotton, 50 g / 125 m. Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/6 – 100% cotton, 50 g / 105 m. Merinor Cotton Bamboo Light – cotton/bamboo blend.
