Mysterious Swirl Scarf

**PATTERN STORY** I came up with this pattern for my Mysterious Swirl Sweater. I had some leftover yarn, and thought it would be a good idea to have a fully charted, more approachable iteration of the design. I was calling the knit my swirl, but I knew that was not the final name. I heard the 1995 Peter Andre hit ‘Mysterious Girl’ and knew the design had to be named after that. **SKILLS NEEDED** Casting on, cable knitting, casting off. This project is suitable for an intermediate knitter. **CONSTRUCTION** The scarf is knit flat from beginning to end **YARN** Blue Sky Fibers Suri Merino 150 m / 164 yds per 100g Pattern uses 400g of yarn (4 skeins) Sample uses color Mountain Air **GAUGE & NEEDLES** Gauge is 25 sts / 26 rows per 10 cm / 4 in pattern with 4mm / US6 needles in chart pattern. Needle A: 4 mm / US6 Gauge is not important for this project, but it will affect the drape and size of the final scarf. **RECOMMENDED NOTIONS** A tapestry needle for weaving in ends. Cable needle. **SIZING** One size - approx 2 x 210 cm / 8 x 80 in
