The **Azulejos Top** is a simple yet stylish top featuring a colour work motif inspired by the Portuguese tiles *azulejos*.
This garment is quite quick to knit up as it is overall stockinette stitch, knit with DK weight yarn on 4 mm needles (US 6). Slip stitches help create a neat edge around the armhole all while knitting the front and back panels. Subtle single crochet edgings finish the neckline and hem without overwhelming the design (video tutorial included).
Optional **bust shaping is included** in the design to adapt the garment to your body measurements and ensure a comfortable fit.
The top is knit seamlessly from the top-down starting at the back until the recommended length before adding armhole shaping. Stitches are then picked up for each shoulder, one at a time, from which you will shape the neckline. Both shoulders are then joined together and the front panel is knit until the recommended length before adding armhole shaping. The front and back panels are then joined together, while adding stitches at the underarms, before finishing the body in the round.
