The Salt Top

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL). Finished chest 72 to 112 cm / 28.25 to 44 in. The Salt Top is designed with no positive ease, so the finished measurements are close to your actual bust. If you're between sizes, size down for a closer fit or size up for a looser one. If you'd like it more relaxed over the wing panels, go up a size. The Salt Top is a lightweight, easy-fitting piece, made from three panels, a base panel and two wing panels, joined together as you knit. The diagonal lines across the piece come directly from the construction. The whole piece is knitted top down in stockinette. Then the neckline finishes with a folded stockinette brim, and the armholes and the body structure are edged with an applied i-cord. The piece is reversible, you can wear the wing panels at the front or the back, however you like. Includes techniques like provisional cast-on, picking up stitches, and shaping with increases and decreases, and i-cord edges. Level: Intermediate/Advanced
