Pontes Shawl

“Pontes” means bridges in Latin, so follow the path and take the bridge that leads you to your next adventure wrapped in a shawl you made. This pattern was designed in collaboration with Zeezee Textiles Choose Your Own Adventure mini-box for both fingering and DK weight yarn. The pattern will be made available to the general public in November 2026. Suggested Yarn: DK weight yarn Sample: Zeezee Textiles 100% Superwash Merino 231 yds/211 m; 3.53 oz/100 g Yardage estimates: C1: 229 yds/ m C2: 220 yds/ m C3: 201 yds/ m No buffer added Needles: US size 6/4.0 mm, 20"/50 cm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge Gauge (DK): 19 sts x 24 rows = 4"/10 cm in garter stitch worked flat, blocked 20 sts x 22 rows = 4"/10 cm in brioche stitch, blocked. Second sample: Fingering weight yarn Sample: Zeezee Textiles – Silk Sock 80% Merino Wool, 20% Silk 400 yds/366 m; 3.53 oz/100 g Yardage estimates: C1: 349 yds/ m C2: 376 yds/ m C3: 336 yds/ m No buffer added Needle: US size 4/3.5 mm, 20"/50 cm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge Gauge (Fingering): 22 sts x 20 rows = 4"/10 cm in garter stitch worked flat, blocked 20 sts x 22 rows = 4"/10 cm in brioche stitch, blocked.
