Vintage Circus Socks

Imagine a time gone by, the show is about to start, the tent is bussing with excitement. The Circus Socks are created by connecting different modules, all knit together, so no seaming. These socks feature a mitered square heel flap and gusset and a wedge toe, but they are all easily swapped with your own favorites. My color inspiration comes from a vintage circus tent, but please feel free to juggle all your favorite colors to create the pair of your dreams:-) **Yarn**: Four colors of sock yarn in fingering weight (400 – 425 m pr. 100g). The original pair is knit in Arwetta Classic by Filcolana. (Colors: A – 977 Marzipan, B – 808 Aqua Mist, C – 810 Chrysanthemum and D – 135 Straw) **Yardage**: Color A: 50 (50-55*) 65g, Color B: 25 (30) 35g, Color C: 25 (30) 35g, Color D: 5 (5-10) 10g *Depending on foot length, 50 g of color A will suffice. The prototype was knit in size 2, foot length US shoe size 8, and needed 49 g of color A in total. **Gauge**: 32 sts and 48 rows = 10 x 10cm in stockinette stitch, knitted in the round. **Needles**: 2,25mm or the needles you need to get gauge. The socks are designed using the magic loop method. **Sizing**: 1 (2) 3 - 20-22 (23-25) 26-28cm / 8-8¾ (9-9¾) 10¼-11inches (Based on the circumference of the foot) **Notions**: Extra needle for three-needle-bind off, darning needle, stitch marker _____________________ Forestil dig en svunden tid, showet skal til at begynde, teltet summer af spænding. Vintage Cirkusstrømperne er bygget op af moduler, der strikkes sammen, så du undgår montering. Strømperne er designet med en dominofirkant-hæl og en båndtå. Begge dele skiftes nemt ud med din personlige favorit.
