My Basic Socks

My Basic Socks are simple, everyday socks worked from the cuff down in the round. The instep is worked in a classic K4, P1 pattern, while the sole and foot are worked in stockinette stitch. The pattern features a simple anatomical heel construction with a gusset and a smooth, low-profile heel shaping. The toe is finished with a classic, symmetrical decrease and Kitchener stitch. The pattern is written for EU 37–39, 39–41 and 41–45 and includes video tutorials covering several of the techniques used throughout the pattern.
