도안 상세 설명 구글번역기로 번역하기
The Abete Shawl features a delicate lace design that reflects the serene beauty of fir forests, the slender branches forming airy, repeating patterns. The shawl’s name means “fir” in Italian and is a nod to its natural muse. As the pattern is worked from the tip, it can be used with a variety of yardages and knit to almost any size. Our sample weighs less than 50g and still has a very generous wingspan – oh, the magic of lace!
Instructions are both charted and written out.
**Size**
- Wingspan: 160cm (63in)
- Depth: 65cm (25 1/2in)
**Yarn**
- Laceweight, 385m (421yds)
- Sample yarn: The Wandering Flock Mohair Lace (80% super kid mohair, 20% silk), laceweight, 50g (1¾oz), 393m (430yds), in Dreamsicle
- The pattern can be used with lightly variegated yarns
**Needles**
- 4mm (US 6) straight or circular needles
**Gauge**
- 21 sts and 30 rows measure 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) over stockinette stitch, after blocking
- Swatch to determine the needle size that achieves the correct gauge
**Construction**
- The shawl is worked as an asymmetric triangle from the tip toward a wide bind off, with increases along one side.
- After the initial tip is completed, the 28-row pattern can be repeated until the shawl reaches the desired length, or almost all the yarn is used up.
- The sides of the shawl feature simple lace edgings that flow seamlessly into a lace bind off.
