도안 상세 설명 구글번역기로 번역하기
This pattern captures the delicate charm of baby’s breath, the common name for gypsophila. The Gypsophila Shawl came to life as an ode to unusual colorways. Its stitch patterns were carefully chosen to accommodate even heavily variegated yarns, and to do so in style. A classic crescent shape drapes beautifully around the shoulders and wraps comfortably as a scarf.
**Size**
- Wingspan: 150cm (59in)
- Depth: 33cm (13in)
**Yarn**
- Fingering weight yarn, 355m (388yds)
- Sample yarn: Magpie Fibers Swanky Sock (80% superwash Merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon), fingering, 115g (4oz), 365m (400yds), in Paloma
- The pattern is designed to let variegated, self-striping, or self-patterning yarns shine
**Needles**
- 4.5mm (US 7) straight or circular needles
**Gauge**
- 20 sts and 34 rows measure 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) over stockinette (stocking) stitch, after blocking
- Swatch to determine the needle size that achieves the correct gauge
**Construction**
- The shawl is knit flat using different increases at the edge of each row to create a true crescent shape
- The shawl starts with a garter tab which flows into garter edging
- The pattern features four stitch patterns: Seed Stitch, Estonian Braids, Stockinette (Stocking) Stitch, and Drop Stitch.
- You can increase/decrease the size of the shawl by repeating or skipping some of the stripes. Make sure to stop after completing a seed-stitch stripe to prevent the bind-off (cast off) edge from curling.
