"Five finger ivy" is a pattern for crocheted triangular shawl featuring an interesting floral motif, inspired by the beautiful climbing vine that changes colors in autumn, the most commonly known as Virginia creeper (lat. Parthenocissus quinquefolia). The pattern includes a graphic chart, written step-by-step instructions (stitch by stitch, row by row) and video link for important stitches. **You need:** **1.** Required knowledge and skills: advanced level; **2.** Crochet hook 4.5mm / US 7, plus tapestry needle for weaving in ends; **3.** Yarn: the sample on photos (L - large size) is made with 285g (almost 3 skeins) of "Alize Angora Gold Batik" in a fall color palette 3368 (1 ball = 100gr/550m-602yds). It's lace weight yarn, durable blend, warm yet lightweight, in gentle gradient color transitions. You can use also color palette 7399 (a slightly lighter). Notice this: For smaller shawl, in size M, you will need 2 skeins (200gr). You can also use some solid color yarn (green, crimson red, purple, orange, pink). Dimensions L (flat, fixed): wingspan 182cm/72.8”; depth – 91cm/36.4” (1”=2.5cm) Optional* Dimensions M (flat, fixed): wingspan 150cm/60"; depth - 75cm/30" **Gauge** (is irrelevant): 20 sts /9 rows = 4"x4” = 10x10cm
