Notes from the Designer: Hearten is an easy rectangular shawl with a simple garter stitch border and a repeating lace motif that’s quick to learn and easy to remember. Featuring lacy decreases, the pattern creates a soft, textured fabric with a subtle, three-dimensional leaf effect and beautiful openwork. After a few repeats, the rhythm becomes second nature, making it a relaxing knit you can pick up and put down with confidence.
