4 Little Faroese

4 Little Faroese is a classic Nordic sweater or cardigan in a 2-color pattern knitted with a soft and airy blend of our Pura Lana and Kid Seta yarns. The design has set-in-sleeves and is worked in the round bottom up - Norwegian style; knitting in the round as much possible. Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 Bust circumference: 100 (110) 120 (130) 140 cm. Length: 48 (50) 53 (56) 60 cm. Sleeve length from armhole: 46 (46) 45 (44) 43 cm. MATERIALS Yarn Quality: Gepard Pura Lana (50% fine new merino wool, 50% soft alpaca, 50 g = 115 mtr). Gepard Kid Seta (70% super kid mohair, 30% silk, 25 g = 210 mtr). Yardage are listed in the pattern. Needles: 5 mm circular needles (40 + 80 cm) and a short circular needle (30 cm) or double pointed needles for sleeves, all in Japanese Koshitsu bamboo from Seeknit and Gepard. Tip! If knitting tighter when working in 2-color pattern, use a 5 mm needle when working with one color and a 5.5 mm needle when working in 2-color pattern. Optionally use interchangeable circular needles, so you can swap the needle tips. Notions: Approx. 6 buttons for cardigan, depending on the size of the buttons. Gauge: 17.5-18 sts and 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm in pattern with 1 strand of each of Pura Lana and Kid Seta on 5 mm needles. Adjust needle size if necessary.
