Bellwether

Bellwether was designed for Sacred Sheep 2026! You can find kits [here][1]! Bellwether is knit from the top down in the round featuring a bold graphic sheep motif and geometric colorwork. Bellwether is named for the sheep who leads the flock, inspired by the adorable Valais Blacknose sheep who attend Sacred Sheep each year (thanks to Kristen Ford of Woolfolk). This design is unisex and size-inclusive, and includes instructions on how to modify it for your body and sleeve lengths as desired. Options are included for a puff sleeve with colorwork or a simple cap sleeve. The sample shown is knit in Ritual Dyes Marona DK (MC) and oSHen Fibers Bubbles DK (CC). The boucle texture of the Bubbles DK adds an interesting textural dimension to the colorwork. You can use a similar yarn or a regular DK depending on your preference!
