**Collection Info:**
The Solo Skeins collection was created to make the most of the single skeins in your yarn stash, or those special skeins you want to make the most of. Each pattern is written for both fingering/sock and DK weight yarns, and uses less than 400 yards (fingering/sock) or 230 yards (DK).
**Pattern Inspiration:**
The Staccato Mini Scarf was named for the musical articulation “staccato”
which means to play the notes very short and separated. This scarf is small and quick to make, and makes the perfect small accent to an outfit.
**Basic Information:**
Pattern is written in US crochet terms.
Yarn: The pattern can be made in either fingering/sock (weight 1) or DK (weight 3).
Fingering/sock: approximately 220 (or more) yards. I used On the Round Nimble Sock (85% SWM/15% Nylon, 394 yds/100g) for my sock weight sample.
DK weight: approximately 180 yards (or more). I used Montana Crochet DK 115 (100% SWM, 250 yards/115g) for my DK weight sample.
Hook: 3.5mm (fingering) or 4mm (DK), or size needed to meet gauge.
Finished size: Length and width are customizable. Both of my scarves are approximately 4.5” wide (including border) and 47” long. Note yardage needs will change if either width or length are adjusted.
Gauge: In Xhdc, after blocking, fingering/sock: 30 sts by 12 rows= 4” by 4”, DK: 24 sts by 10 rows = 4” by 4”.
