It is worked from one tip to the center with increases, then continues to the other tip with decreases, creating a continuous flowing shape with a natural symmetry. The stitch pattern expands gradually along the body of the shawlette, forming a soft, elegant drape with beautiful movement and texture. Blocking is essential to open up the fabric and fully reveal the delicate structure. This design is ideal for fingering-weight yarns, especially those with good stitch definition and natural fibers that block well. It’s a relaxing yet engaging project, offering rhythmic knitting with just enough variation to keep things interesting. **The pattern includes both charts and fully written instructions, and it has also been tested.** Knitting needle and other notions US2 ½ /3mm, with 20” / 50 cm cable or straight needle Stitch markers, tapestry needle Gauge 26 stitches x 30 rows = 4”x4” / 10x10cm Gauge is measured on the scarf laid flat and relaxed.
