Viola Socks

Viola Socks combine easy colorwork with a wedge heel and anatomically shaped toes for a sock that's as joyful to knit as it is to wear. They are a hint of spring in four colors. The sample pair was knitted in Lang Yarns Jawoll (75% merino wool, 25% polyamide, 50 g / 210 m / 230 yds) in colorway 025 and Filcolana Arwetta (75% merino wool, 25% polyamide, 50 g / 210 m / 230 yds) in colorways 101 (Natural White), 267 (Lavender Frost) and 136 (Mustard). NEEDLES 2 mm / US 0, 80 cm / 32″ circular needles for stockinette. 2.25 mm / US 1, 80 cm / 32″ circular needles for colorwork. GAUGE 36 sts x 37.5 rnds = 10 cm / 4″ on 2.25 mm / US 1 needles in colorwork in the round after blocking. 35 sts x 42 rnds = 10 cm / 4″ on 2 mm / US 0 needles in stockinette in the round after blocking.
