Selvedge is a crochet shawl inspired by woven tartan, designed to mimic the crossing of warp and weft through simple stitches and a guided weaving technique. Worked in fingering weight yarn, the shawl creates a beautiful plaid effect while remaining soft, lightweight, and wearable.
