Sailor hat

This half double crochet sailor hat is easy and quick to make, it is started as a flat circle and from there you decide the width of your hat before you finally shape it. whether you want small, medium or large, you crochet the width required as a flat circle, you later add the same number+2 more rows for the working in rounds. for the folded side, it is worked backwards for a number of rows so the look of the hat is even. I used medium worsted yarn and 5.5 mm crochet hook. Measurements/ Gauge folded Large: 16/ 33 cm Medium: 14/27 cm Small: 12/24 cm 10 cm: 11 sts/ 9 rows
