Grannies BLEND IN

I thought maybe a granny square blanket, but I didn’t want too many colours or squares, just enough of both to keep things interesting & *fun*. My goal was impact with simplicity, & as a result of having so much fun with this concept, I ended up designing & crocheting TWO blankets (see [Grannies GO ROGUE][2]). This is the more conservative design of the 2 - worked in 3 colours. I think of it as *decor friendly,* but you could if you prefer, easily showcase 3 colours that make your heart sing when you see them together! All 3 colours are used in each individual square, with FIVE squares worked in one order & FOUR worked in reverse order. All NINE use **C1** & **C2** until the *final* 2 rounds. A 3rd colour (**C3**) is then introduced, which is also used for seaming the squares together (*alternately positioned*) before an easy & effective scalloped edging is also worked in **C3** around the entire blanket,.
