Spirit Ninja

This is a overlay mosaic crochet blanket pattern with 7 bands of images which can be reordered or repeated as desired. This pattern includes written instructions and a chart and also includes instructions for a simple envelope border. The pattern feature four spirit ninjas, each with their own personality based on the four elements - earth, fire, wind and water. The colours have been chosen to match these personalities but feel free to express your own personality and go wild with your colour choices! The blanket is thick and snuggly due to carrying colours behind. As such I recommend 600g aran weight yarn for the primary background, 200g aran weight yarn for the branches, 200g aran weight yarn for the cherry blossom, 300g aran weight yarn for the ninja masks and 100g aran weight yarn for each of the coloured stripes; although this is a rough guide and will depend on your tension.
