Solstice Star

Solstice Star is a 7 part crochet along which begins Friday 3rd October 2025. This is a FREE pattern, but you will need to be a free member on crystalsandcrochet.com to access the pattern. There are full photo tutorials, and also step by step video tutorials in US terms. Each part will be published on a Friday morning at approx. 10am UK time. You will be able to find the pattern and links to videos each week on my website and, also in my Facebook group [Helen’s Hookaholics.][1] I often see people who are new to my designs say that they do not think they will be able to do it. Although many beginners have made my designs and learned a lot along the way. We will be making a full sized square blanket. How much yarn will you need? There will be 3 yarn packs available from Woolwarehouse, links can be found on my website. The total amount of yarn needed is: Normal Double Knit yarn – #3 weight – 8-ply – approx. 4750 metres – 5155 yards – 4mm G hook – Finished size 155cm / 61 inches. Aran – Worsted – #4 weight – 10-ply – approx. 20% more yarn. How much yarn you need depends on how many colours you chose to use.
