Outback Christmas Shawl

One of my favourite shawls to knit and wear is a garter stitch, asymmetrical triangle shawl. This pattern mixes these two concepts, resulting in a wonderful project that is sure to bring you joy. Starting at one tip of the triangle, you will work increases until you reach the widest part of the shawl. You then decrease stitches until the shawl ends at the other point of the triangle. Finished with an icord edge as you knit, the shawl is an engaging and satisfying project for beginner knitters through to experts. Designed to use a 12 mini skein set together with a main skein, this shawl is a fantastic opportunity to showcase those beautiful mini skeins and advents in your stash. The shawl is designed to use up to 12 x 20g mini skeins of fingering weight (4ply) yarn (CC1 – CC12) together with a main colour skein. It has a length after blocking of around 2.2-2.4m. The widest part of the shawl measures around 37-39cm when blocked.
