**About** Glacis Sweater is an oversized sweater with a straight, relaxed fit, slim sleeves, and a high neckline. A decorative seam runs from the neckline to the cuffs. Glacis Sweater is worked top down. The collar is first worked in rib, followed by the yoke which is shaped with Japanese short rows. This is an easy technique, fully explained in the pattern, that creates neat and discreet turns. After the short rows, the work continues in the round on a circular needle with increases along the shoulders. The work is then divided, and the front and back are knitted separately before being joined under the armholes. The body is worked in the round, and stitches are later picked up for the sleeves, which are also worked in the round.
