The simplicity of the lace is forgiving to the bloom of angora and other “fuzzy” fibers, but also visually interesting enough to work well with sleek fibers like silk and mercerized cotton. All patterns I design for angora yarns are completed in commercial yarn first for finished measurements and yarn quantities then made again with my handspun. For this design the commercial yarn used is World of Wool Rosa Alba 70% superfine merino, 20% silk, 10% cashmere 2 ply, 382 yards / 100g .
