* The Liv Blouse is worked top-down in stockinette stitch, beginning with the left and right back sections, which are shaped using German short rows. Stitches are then cast on for the neck, and the back sections are joined to work the back in one piece. Stitches are picked up to work the left and right front separately with neckline increases, before being joined to continue the front as one piece. Once the front and back are complete, stitches are cast on for the underarms, and the body is worked in the round down to the hem. The hem is finished back and forth to create a diagonal slit. Both edges of the slit and the neckline are worked with an I-cord for a clean finish. Finally, the sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round. * Examples of knitted projects can be found on Instagram under the hashtag [#liv_blouse][1] * The light blue blouse in the photo is made with Sole col. 53 by Pascuali [SIZE M]. * The yellow blouse in the photo is made with Hør Silke col. 117 & Cashmere Lace col. 103 by Gepard Garn [SIZE M]. **Sizes:** **XS** / **S** / **M** / **L** / **XL** / **2XL** / **3XL** The Liv Blouse has a regular fit and is designed to have approx. 10 cm [4 in] of positive ease, with slightly reduced ease in larger sizes to ensure a more comfortable fit. This means the garment's measurements will be approx. 10 cm [4 in] larger than your actual bust circumference. The sizes XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130 cm [31½-33½ / 33½-35½ / 35½-37½ / 37½-39½ / 39½-43¼ / 43¼-47¼ / 47¼-51¼ in]. Before you begin, measure yourself to determine the right size. For example, if your bust circumference is 92 cm [36¼ in], you should knit a size M. If you are between sizes, choose the size based on how loose you prefer the garment to fit. Using the diagram with the finished garment measurements can be a helpful reference when deciding which size to select. **Finished measurements:** Circumference: 92 / 97 / 102 / 107 / 115 / 125 / 135 cm [36¼ / 38 / 40¼ / 42 / 45¼ / 49¼ / 53¼ in] Back length: 53 / 54 / 55 / 56 / 57 / 58 / 59 cm [20¾ / 21¼ / 21¾ / 22 / 22½ / 22¾ / 23¼ in] Front length: 65 / 66 / 67 / 68 / 69 / 70 / 72 cm [25½ / 26 / 26½ /26¾ / 27¼ / 27½ / 28¼ in] **Suggested yarn:** **Pascuali** (worked with one strand throughout the process): 350/350/400/400/450/450/500 g Sole by Pascuali 50 g = 140 m [153 yds]. **Gepard Garn** (worked with two strands throughout the process): 300/300/350/350/400/400/450 g Hør Silke by Gepard Garn 50 g = 175 m [191 yds] & 75/75/100/100/100/125/125 g Cashmere Lace by Gepard Garn 25 g = 350 m [383 yds]. **Needles** Circular needles: 4.5 mm [US 7] 40, and 80 or 100 cm [16, and 32 or 40 in]. 4 mm [US 6] 80 or 100 cm [32 or 40 in]. 3.5 mm [US 4] 40 cm [16 in].
