**Tell Me About the Pattern!** The 2025 Knitmas in July pattern is a wide triangle shawl knit flat, top-down, with soothing garter stitch, playful color pops, and just enough stitch magic to keep things interesting. It’s designed to be: ✔️ Easy to memorize ✔️ Lightweight + portable ✔️ Perfect for summer stitching on the go ✔️ Suitable for most knitters, from adventurous beginner to advanced. Whether you're knitting at the beach or between BBQs, this is your joyful take-along project for July. A tracking worksheet is included to help you keep track of your stitches. The pattern features links to video tutorials throughout. **Pattern Details:** **Finished Measurements:** approximately 106.5”/ 266cm x 25”/ 63.5cm (width x length at center). **Needles:** US 5/ 4mm or size to obtain gauge in Garter Stitch. Use your preferred needles for working flat. I used DPNs to cast on, then switched to a 24” circular needle, then to a 60” circular needle. **Gauge:** 19 sts and 38 rows = 4”/ 10cm over Garter Stitch. While gauge isn’t crucial for this project, it will affect the size of your shawl and the amount of yarn used.
