Elmo Collar

Elmo is a fun gaugeless collar pattern you can easily adjust the neck circumference of as you knit. It has two sister/brother designs; MEL the top-down collar and LEM the bottom-up one, and Elmo is the sideway version of this playful doughnut shaped collar design. Just a single color yarn is enough to enjoy the fun shape, but you can of course play with colors or textures! **Required techniques:** knit, purl, M1L, k2tog, ssk, W&T etc **Sizes and Finished Measurements:** Your own size and measurements **Yarn:** Approximately 200 m / 219 yards of Fingering weight yarn held double or 80 m / 88 yards of DK weight yarn or 110 m / 120 yards of Aran weight yarn or 110 m / 120 yards of Bulky weight yarn **Gauge & Needles:** Any gauges and any needle sizes **Notions:** tapestry needle for weaving in ends optional: snap buttons ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・ このパターンは、ボトムアップで編むつけ襟 LEM 、トップダウンで編むつけ襟 MEL に続いて、横から編むつけ襟として考えました。横から編むと、首周りのサイズを編みながら調整できるので、ゲージを合わせなくても気軽に編めて楽しいデザインです。ぐるりと丸いドーナツ型とジグザグした縁の形が楽しくて、単色の糸はもちろん、いろんな色や素材で遊ぶのもおすすめです。 **使う技法：** 表編み、裏編み、ねじり増し目、かけ目、右上2目一度、左上2目一度、ラップ＆ターンなど **サイズと仕上がり寸法：** フリーサイズ（首周り調整可能、襟7-14cm） **糸：** Fingering / 中細 程度の太さの糸2本取り ー 約200m もしくはDK / 並太 程度の太さの糸 ー 約 80 m もしくは Aran / 並太 程度の太さの糸 ー 約 110 m もしくは Bulky / 極太 程度の太さの糸 ー 約 110 m **ゲージと編針：** お好みのゲージと針サイズ **道具：** とじ針 オプション：スナップボタンなどの留め具
