An Italian Bandana

*An Italian Bandana* is a little neck accessory that will keep you company regardless of the season. Knit it in a cozy yarn for the wintertime or in a fresh plant-based fiber for the summer. This is the “official pattern” of [Knit Italia][1] 2024, which will take place in Florence, Italy at the end of October. If you, like me, will be there, feel free to bring your version of this bandana with you and wear it at the knitting festival! **Yarn** 50 g of Drops Belle (120 meters (131 yards) / 50 g) or 50 g of Drops Lima (100 meters (109 yards) / 50 g) **Measurements** Length from tip to tip: ~70 cm (~27 inch) Width at center: ~25 cm (~10 inch) **Needles** 5 mm (US 8) circular needles, at least 80 cm (32 inch) long **Gauge** 16 sts and 28 rows in 10 cm (4 inch) in garter stitch **Notes** * The bandana is worked flat, back and forth, with no purling in sight: it’s all garter stitch and simple eyelets.
