Pia Hat

Pia Hat is a very simple and fun knitted project for women suitable for advanced beginners or intermediate knitters. SUGGESTED YARN: 2 skeins of Drops Daisy (50 g = 110 m) and 1 skein of Drops Kid Silk (25 g = 210 m) or 1 skein of Foa Tinta (100g = 200 m) and 1 skein of Foa Nuvia (25 g = 220 m) or any yarn to obtain the gauge. One strand of each yarn is held together. GAUGE: 20 stitches and 28 rows in slightly stretched 1+1 rib 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) using the needles No. 4 mm (US 6), after washing. NEEDLES: Circular needles No. 4 mm (US 6), 40 cm and a set of socks needles or circular needles 80 cm if using the magic loop method, 4 markers + 1 marker in contrast colour to mark beginning of the round and tapestry needle. SIZES: SIZE S - head circumference 52-54 cm, height 21 cm SIZE M - head circumference 55-58 cm, height 22 cm SIZE L - head circumference 59-62 cm, height 23.5 cm ABOUT THIS PATTERN: Pia Hat is worked from bottom up in the round on circular needles or a set of socks needles. The brim is worked 1+1 rib. Techniques used are very simple: knit, purl and knit 2 together :)
