Boom!

Boom! is a very simple asymmetric boomerang shawl, knit in garter stitch with increases and decreases. The shawl was designed with the intention of displaying a colour gradient in handspun yarns, prepared from commercially blended tops, but could be used with any commercial yarn. It would be ideal for variegated or gradient yarns. The basic knitting instructions could be used with any thickness of yarn & appropriate needles, to make any size shawl desired. The pattern also includes instructions on the fibre preparation used to spin the yarn for version 1. The sample was knit in yarn spun from Wingham Wool Works merino blend in Giggleswick. > **Version 1** > >Size: Wingspan 180 cm / 70”.
