*This was 2015's Mystery Knit Along shawl. Choose three colors to knit this playful shawl. Begin with Westknits shortcut rows and increase to built the striped section. Continue with a contrasting color to knit a large cable that grows across the edge. Pick up stitches in a third color to knit the wavy border. Choose between a simple I-cord bind off or add decorative picot clusters for an embellished edge.* **Finished Measurements** 60" / 152cm wingspan length, 24" / 61cm from cable edging to wavy bind off edge. Measurements taken after blocking. **Yarn** Fingering weight **Yardage** Color A - 355yds / 325m Color B - 285yds / 261m Color C - 395yds / 361m **Shown in** West Wool Tricycle Color A - White Peach Color B - Flamingo Color C - Fuchsia Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles Pink & Yellow Version Color A - Seed Color B - Pollen Color C - Tulp **Purple Version** Color A - Urchin Color B - Birthday Cake Color C - Purple Reign **Needles** 40" / 100cm US 4 / 3.5mm circular **Gauge** 22 sts & 52 rows = 4" / 10cm in garter stitch Take time to check gauge. It does not have to be exact as long as you like the drape of your fabric. I recommend a fabric that has movement without the stitches looking too loose or sloppy.
