Sort of Half Circle Shawl

This is only "sort of" a half circle shawl because it actually works out to be 7/12 of a circle. Spokes radiate out from the top center of this shawl, reminiscent of the suns we all drew as children. Eyelet rows for visual interest--add a little, or add a lot. Change it up to suit your own personal style! The lightweight yarn coupled with a large hook will give your shawl fantastic drape. A single skein of sock yarn (450 yards, give or take) will give you a decent sized shawl, but feel free to add another skein to make a fuller-sized shawl that you can really snuggle up in. Understanding of how to crochet a flat circle is a big bonus (though not vital) and will make crocheting this shawl a far more intuitive venture.
