Short Story ankle socks are knitted cuff down on a long circular needle, using fingering weight sock yarn. The diagonal lines are created with twisted 2-stitch cables. The pattern is in English. SIZES XS (60 sts); S (64 sts); M (68 sts) Finished measurements Foot circumference (both patterns) 18 (19.5; 20.5) cm / [7.25 (7.75; 8.25) inches], blocked, without stretching. Foot length adjustable. YARN Approximately 140-180 meters/155-200 yards or 35- 45 grams of fingering weight sock yarn for MC, 40- 80 meters /45-90 yards or 15-20 grams of fingering weight sock yarn for CC. Sample socks are knit in yarnbylaurelknits SuperSock (85% SW Merino, 15% Nylon; 400 meters/440 yards per 100g) in colorways Gustav or Autumn Confetti (MC) and Mint Green or Pretty Peach (CC).
