Spooky Spider Shawl

This spooky spider is just perfect for Halloween! I chose to use a beautiful gradient cake yarn that I had. The golden color at the top and black at the bottom make it look like the spider is descending out of the dusty web into the shadows. Although, solid black would really make the whole design stand out! I love crochet filet patterns. I think my brain likes the structure of the grid. I also like the images that we are able to create using positive and negative space. This pattern includes written instructions on how to get started and a pdf chart to follow. Make sure you have both documents.
