The Euro Summer Shawl was inspired by my grandmother's silk scarf, which I loved wearing on my head during the summer and around my neck in the winter. I wanted to create a filet crochet shawl that captures the same delicate lightness as silk, keeping the neck warm while allowing the head to stay cool.
