Then stitches are picked up from the shoulder slants to knit the fronts, armholes and the whole upper body in one piece, including the front bands. The pattern at the fronts is easily knit by just slipping stitches. After separating the sleeves, the body is worked down to desired length, then the sleeves are knit in the round. To finish, stitches are picked up and the neckline is completed with an Icord edge and – if you wish – a collar for a modish element. One or two pockets are knit separately and sewn onto the fronts.
